In 2003, Penelope Spa was created. I once shared with my uncle that I wanted to start my own company where I could make someone feel special with something that is so essential to our everyday life-style -- like using a simple bar of soap, but not just any soap -- "Penelope Bath Soap".  So my uncle said "I have the perfect name for your business, call it "Penelope".  I said to him "you have been calling Penelope since I was a little girl, why I ask?  He said "back in my days "Penelope" meant Sophisticated & Classy.  That's what I see in you always.  So I know your customers will appreciate doing business with you.  So I took my vision a little futher.  However, if soap  is not enough for someone I create & design elegant spa collection that would put you in mind of a celebrity gift bag hollywood style with all kinds of goodies inside.  You might see a gift card from Starbuck's, Sephora's must-have lipgloss or nail polish, Victoria Secret's hipster or thong panties just to bring "sexy back".  The idea is to make someone feel special even if it's just for a moment.  Receving and giving gifts can really make a bad day turn to a good one!
